REGULAR PLANNED ACTIVITIES
THIS TERM

 
Weekly activities planned for the next term

 Southlands residential home visits - Weekly
A group of children each week are offered the opportunity to spend some time at the residential home nearby.                     The children enjoy games, crafts and stories, and occasionally stay for lunch with the residents of the home. 

★ Rhythm Time Sessions
Once a week the children are invited to participate in this song, dance and movement session delivered by a specialist provider.

★ Yoga Sessions
Once a week the children are invited to participate in a professionally lead yoga session, these include movement, song and dance.
 
★ Cooking – Weekly
There is a planned cooking activity each week, these are on a different days each week so that all children have regular opportunities to participate.
 
★ Walks - Weekly
We have lots of walks planned with walks to the park, library, church and museum planned this term.
 
★ Woodland time– Daily
Some of our children will spend time each day in the woodland area.
Children have this opportunity in small groups each time with all children having opportunities throughout the week.

Parent meetings week
This term we are holding our parent meetings throughout the week commencing 6th May. If you would like to arrange a meeting with your child’s key person to discuss their development and progress please speak to a member of staff when you drop off or pick up and they will be able to book it for you. You can also book by emailing [email protected].

Book Bags
Books can be exchanged as little or often as you wish depending on how much your child is enjoying the book they have been given. Books are for enjoying at home with an adult.

If your child borrows clothing from the Pre-School Unit please ensure that it is returned to us to be used again.
